Ken served in the United States Army as an auditor. He graduated from Louisiana Tech in Ruston and received his degree in accounting. Ken went on to acquire his CPA designation and began his career at Ethel Corporation in Baton Rouge, La. He married Lucille Guess Stewart of Jonesboro on June 17, 1956. Later he and Luci moved to Monroe where he worked for Walter Kellogg at Kellogg lumber and then as controller for Governor James A. Noe at Noe Enterprise. Ken was al also a real estate investor, who purchased numerous houses around the college in in Monroe. Ken is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Will L. Harrison and Achsah Barrow Harrison of Jonesboro, by his beloved wife, Luci, and his son, Stewart Guess Harrison. His brothers, Will L. "Billy", Franklin Barrow "Frank", his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Harrison "Betsy" Stell, Edith Carolyn Harrison Bluck, Jane Gloria Harrison "Doe" Loventhal, Marth Hunt Harrison Hargrove and Baby Girl Ha Harrison who died before given a name. He is survived by his sons and loved ones: John K. Harrison, II, and Marla Press of Houston, Texas, Reace Barrow Harrison and Colleen Wood of The Woodlands, Texas, Will Preston Harrison and Ann Wieding of Austin, Texas and his grandchild, Hannah Harrison. His brothers Charles Harrison of Gonzales, Ben Harrison and wife Lee Lee of Monroe, and Stuart Harrison and wife Sarah of Jo Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews, which he loved dearly. A memorial service will be held in Jonesboro, Louisiana on January 21st.
