BARRY JAY HART 

Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA 

Funeral services for Barry Jay Hart, 41, of Swartz, LA, will be held at 10:00 
AM Monday, July 6, 2009, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. Norman 
Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery 
under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. 
Hart passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 
retired from LSU Monroe and a member of Rowland Road Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his wife, Landra L. Hart; sons, Ryan J. Hart and Darian J. Hart; step 
sons, Trey A. Cage and Josh A. Cage and wife Ashley; two grandchildren; 
parents, Clifford L. and Clarice C. Hart; brother, Joey L. Hart and wife 
Jennifer; sister, Natalie K. Patton; mother and father-in-law, Chuck and 
Billie Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-
law. Pallbearers will be Ryan Hart, Trey Cage, Josh Cage, Shannon Olivo, Chris 
Smith, and Neil Bonnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Hart, Dick Clark, 
and Dustin Clark. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, the 
family requests donations be made to an education fund for Darian J. Hart at 
Ouachita Valley Federal Credit Union. The family wishes to express thanks to 
St. Francis Medical Center Renal Unit and Fresenius Dialysis Unit for their 
care and compassion
