Winnsboro, LA

Services for Mr. Bernard Hart, 83 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 2:00 PM Monday, 
September 7, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with 
Rev. Wayne Stroud, Rev. Leon Ward, and Rev. Joey Stroud officiating. Interment 
will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Hart passed away September 4, 2009 at Franklin Medical Center in 
Winnsboro. Mr. Hart was a member of Sartis Baptist Church. He was a farmer and 
his hobby was wood working. He served as a paratrooper in the U. S. Army in 
1945.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Pearson and Mattie Elizabeth 
Hart, sister- Nell Neatherland, and six brothers- Frank, J.E., Lanier, 
Durwood, Leo, and Marvin.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margie Knight Hart, one brother, 
Bobbie Ray Hart and one sister, Maxie Hicks, one special niece & nephew- 
Glenda and Leo Skelton, special nephew-Harvey Stephenson, and special friend- 
Amanda and Chad McManus, a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers will be nephews: Mike Hart, Bubba Hart, Byron Hart, Rodney Cherry, 
Chad McManus, Harvey Stephenson, Tony Stephenson, and Justin Cherry.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sunday, September 6, 2009, and from 9:00 AM until service time Monday, 
September 7, 2009.

Members of the VFW Post #3155 will conduct a flag presentation ceremony.
