HART Funeral services for Mary Hart, 95, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. Jim Moran officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Hart passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, at her residence. Mary or Nanny, as she was called by many, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Her family was the most important thing in her life and was her greatest joy. She was a charter member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, former member of the Altar Society, sustaining member of the Junior Charity League, and a member and longtime volunteer of the St. Francis Auxiliary. Her work at St. Francis was one of her most enjoyable occupations. Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Garrett Hart, Jr.; son, John Michael Hart; grandson, Robert Lewis Hart; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Savage; brother, Walter S. Savage Jr; and sister-in-law, Caroline Savage. Survivors include her son, Gary Hart and wife Jan of Phoenix, AZ.; son, Mark Hart and wife Margaret of Danville, CA.; daughter, Mary Ann Hart Dade and husband Steve of Bastrop, LA.; daughter-in-law, Linda Berkemeyer and husband Ronnie of Lake Village, AR.; grandchildren, Penny Hart, Darby Huestis and husband J.P., Michael Hart, Molly Keene and husband Steve, Karen Hart, Janie Trahan, and Challie Dade; great grandchildren, Zoe, Maya, Evangeline, Oliver, Mirabelle, Harrison, and Charlie; brother, John Savage; and numerous dear nieces, nephews, neighbors and beloved friends. Pallbearers will be Mike Savage, Bill Hochstetler, Michael Hart, J.P. Huestis, Steve Keene, and Junot Dixon.
