NOLEN HAYDEN

Memorial service for Nolen Hayden, 86, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Monday, December 3, 2012, in the Chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington 
Road, Monroe, with Rev. Joe Solomon, Rev. Betty Swanson, and Rev. Larry O'Dell 
officiating. A private family interment will be held at Coax Cemetery at a 
later date. 

Mr. Nolen passed away on December 1, 2012, at his residence after a brave 
fight with cancer. 

Mr. Nolen was a member of Lea Joyner Memorial United Methodist Church for over 
50 years. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during WWII. Mr. 
Nolen was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Martin Hayden of 
Winnsboro, LA; son, Wayne Hayden of Pineville, LA; and grandson, Daryl Arnold 
of Starksville, MS.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bessie Hayden of Monroe, LA; sister, 
Estelle Butler of Winnsboro, LA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and 
Danny Arnold of Orlando, FL; Sara and Wayne Ray of Monroe, LA; and Barbara 
Crosser of Baton Rouge, LA; son and daughter-in-law, David Hayden and Amy of 
Arlington, TX; seven grandsons, one granddaughter, two great granddaughters 
and two great grandchildren on the way, multitude of friends, nieces, and 
nephews. 

Honorary pallbearers will be the church members that built his ramp at the 
house which made his final days easier.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time Monday at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home. 

The family wishes to extend their thanks to First Choice Hospice.
