HERSCHEL HAYDEN

Funeral services for Mr. Herschel Hayden, 46, of West Monroe, will be 1:00pm 
Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe 
with Minister Daryl Craig and Minister Billy Burchell officiating. Interment 
will follow at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service Thursday at 
the funeral home.

Herchel was born on April 5, 1969 and lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, 
December 6, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. He was an avid outdoorsman and 
loved all types of motorsports. Until the time of his illness he had been 
employed as a construction maintenance technician.

Herschel is survived by his wife, Janice; son, Justin and wife, Michelle; 
daughters, Brittany and husband Matt and Brooke; grandchildren, Hannah, Gracie, 
Raedon, Bentley and Tanner. He is also survived by his parents, Bobby and 
DeWanna Hayden; brothers, Bobby and wife Rhonda, Aubrey and Mike; sister-in-
law, Rhonda Coats and husband Jim; also survived by a host of beloved nieces 
and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bob W. Hayden, Matt Phillips, Charles Shelton, Jim Coats, 
Michael Coats and Marshall Coats.
