Bro. Paul Carter and Bro. Don Thornton will officiate. Interment to follow at Rocky Branch Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Haye was born December 16, 1942, in Catahoula Parish, LA and passed away November 13, 2008, at her residence. Mrs. Haye was first and foremost a devoted wife and mother who spent 25 years as a homemaker before entering the school food service industry. She retired from Rocky Branch Elementary School as a food service manager. She was a charter member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church. While in high school, Mrs. Haye achieved the honor of being named "All- State" in basketball. Mrs. Haye loved to paint, cook for her family and she had a love for all children. She was preceded in death by parents, Cary Surveal Poole and Elizabeth Octavia Whitehead and one sister, Odeatrice "Dee" Powell. Mrs. Haye was survived by her husband of 45 years Nickey Haye; two sons, Chris Haye, wife Stephanie, and Greg Haye, wife Lisa; one daughter, Nicole Satterwhite, husband Chris; 7 grandchildren, Colin Haye, Alex, Damian, and Marisa Haye, Christopher, Cory, and Alyssa Satterwhite; two brothers, Wayne Poole, wife Donna, Dean Poole, wife Mary Ann; three sisters, Elaine Poole, husband Clifford, Reba Randall, husband Thad, and Ruby Dannehl, husband Ricky; brother-in-law, Maurice Powell; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be J.C. Ainsworth, Jerrel Gates, Robert Gates, Elton Pardue, Gene Reeves and Allen Dale Pace. Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
