MR. ROBERT "DAN" HAYES

Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Robert "Dan" Hayes, 76, of Monroe will be at 10:00 AM on 
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009, at the Loch Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. Andy 
Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Dan was born April 14th, 1932, in Hall Summit, LA, a son of the late Drew and 
Ida Bell Hayes. He passed away Saturday, January 3rd, 2009, following a lengthy 
illness. A long-time and very active member of the Loch Arbor Baptist Church, 
Dan was a retired maintenance technician for United Gas Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 29 years, Sandra Thompson Hayes; 3 
daughters, Connie Hendricks and husband, Ricky, Elizabeth Osborne and husband, 
Willie, and Angela Patten; 2 sons, Danny W. Hayes and Shane Patten and wife, 
Michelle; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Hazel Thomas and 
Neva Driggers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Brad and Vance Trichel, Jamie Eppinette, Mike Hearne, David 
Hernandez, Oscar Robertson, and Ricky Hendricks, Jr.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6th, 2009, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Loch 
Arbor Baptist Church, 3960 Highway 139, Monroe, LA 71203.
