MICHAEL GEORGE HEANEY

Memorial services for Michael (Mike) George Heaney, 48, will be held at 2:00 
P.M. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 
West Monroe. Rev. Jon Tellifero will officiate.

Mike was born on October 24, 1967 in Louisville, KY and was called home on 
August 24, 2016. It feels much too soon, but trusting our Heavenly Father's 
time. He leaves a legacy of love and compassion that only God can instill 
into a human heart. Michael enjoyed listening to audio books, watching 
Forensic Files, reading, and he loved family gatherings and making memories 
with his family. You could always expect to hear him cracking dad jokes and 
making awkward situations seem normal. He will be missed by anyone who had 
the pleasure of meeting him and all who knew him. Michael loved and was 
loved by many. Those who Michael loved will know they were loved, and those 
who loved him are left with a huge void in their lives. He is preceded in 
death by brother, Paul and and his beloved sister, Madonna Starr.

Mike is survived by his Mother (Momma), Margie McDonald Heaney Pellegal and 
father, David Heaney; daughters Brittanie, Mikayla and Leah, grandson Aaron 
Blaze, brothers Joel (Heather), Steven (Angie), David (Zel), sisters Tamar 
(Mike), Julia; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
