Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Carencro. Reverend Warren Eckart of North Monroe Baptist Church will conduct the funeral services. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "Blessed Assurance", "Amazing Grace", "How Great Thou Art" and "Abide With Me" for the services. Survivors include his beloved wife, Barbara Hebert of Monroe; one daughter, Melinda Hebert and her husband Glen Daigle of Carencro; two sons, Phillip Hebert and his wife Jennifer of Carencro and Russell Hebert of Houston, TX; one grandchild, Ian Smith of Carencro; and one brother, Carrol Hebert and his wife Dora of Carencro. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Hebert; one sister, Elaine Pellerin; and his parents, Raoul and Etta Guilbeau Hebert. A native of Carencro and a resident of Monroe for fifteen years, Allen Hebert was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church and the Sunday Morning AGAPE. He worked for the State of Louisiana Health Department for 37 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him. Pallbearers will be Ian Smith, Russell Hebert, Lonnie Hebert, Glen Daigle, Chandler Credeur and Mike Tannehill. The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
