CHARLES HEMPERLEY


Funeral services for Charles Hemperley 71 West Monroe, LA are at 1:00 pm, 
Friday, March 1, 2013 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of West 
Monroe, with Bishop Aaron Clark officiating. Services are under the direction 
of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Graveside services are at 2:00 
pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Courtland Cemetery in Cass County, Texas by 
Hanner Funeral Home, Atlanta, Texas.

Mr. Hemperley was born February 8, 1942 in Queen City, Texas and passed away 
February 26, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. He was a retired maintenance worker and 
composer for the News Star. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter Day Saints of West Monroe and an active Boy Scout leader for many years. 
Mr. Hemperley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby; 
brother "Hemp" Hemperley; son, William H. Hemperley; 2 daughters, Rhonda Gayle 
and Donna Gene; grandson, Tyler Robinson.

Mr. Hemperley is survived by his son, Richard Hemperley and wife Angi, 
daughter, Tresa Goodman and husband Joe and Candy Robinson and husband Barry; 3 
grandsons, Nathan, Richard Jr. and Ryan; 2 granddaughters; Shay and Elizabeth; 
2 great grandchildren; Marissa and Zak; 3 brothers; Leroy Hemperley and wife 
Ann, Howard Hemperley and wife Sandy, Harold Hemperley and wife Rochelle; 
number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Friday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the church.
