West Monroe, LA

Graveside services for Mrs. Thelma C. Hemphill, 83, of West Monroe will be held 
at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Hasley Cemetery Gazebo in West Monroe, 
Brother Gleason Copeland will officiate. Services are under the direction of 
the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Hemphill was born December 27, 1925 in Stanton, MS; she passed away on May 
12, 2009 in West Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hemphill; her son, Johnny 
Newman. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and sister.

Survivors include her sister, Kyrous Brown and husband Ray; former daughter in 
law, Lovie Newman Hammett; grandson, Mark Newman; two great grandsons and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
