Interment will follow at St. Paschal's Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mrs. Hendrix was born November 14, 1929 and passed away Thursday night August 7, 2008 after suffering a brief illness. She was a life long resident of West Monroe and a life long member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Matthew's Catholic School in 1945. Nita married Millard C. "Jack" Oglesbee in 1947 and later married Albert A. "Buck" Hendrix in 1987. Her piano playing was a unique talent that few possess. If she heard a few bars of a song, she could sit down and play it. Through the years of her life, she entertained many of her loved ones, acquaintances, and strangers through the joy of her music. Playing the piano was her solace in time of sadness and her joy in times of happiness. After her music, Nita's next joy was baking. Many were the recipients of her cakes and pies. Survivors include her husband, Albert A. Hendrix; children, Thomas C. Oglesbee and wife Rosemond, Michael K. Oglesbee and wife Lynne, and Jacquelyn O.
