JAMES W. HENDRIXSON


Funeral services for James W. Hendrixson, Sr., 90, of Monroe will be 10:00 AM, 
Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Highland Park Baptist Church in Monroe with Rev. 
Larry Linson officiating. Interment is to follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe.

Mr. Hendrixson was born May 28, 1922 in Clarks, LA, and passed away June 8, 
2012 in Monroe, LA. James loved his family very much. He was a retired owner 
of Hendrixson Trucking and pipeline inspector for Texas Eastern Gas. Mr. 
Hendrixson was a member and deacon of Highland Park Baptist Church. James was 
a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and served on the U.S.S. Bradford.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Pauline in 2004; nephew, Rocky 
Donivan; niece Gayle Childress; and great nephew, Jonah Pickering.

James is survived by his son, James W. 'Jim' Hendrixson, Jr.; brother, Wayne 
Hendrixson of Columbia; nephew, Jerry Wayne Hendrixson and wife Pam of West 
Monroe; nieces, Margaret Sue Reagan, Eddie Joy Donivan, Barbara Taylor, Denise 
Donivan; sister-in-law Darlene Donivan; and a number of great nieces and 
nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home of Monroe.

Memorial donations may be made to PAWS of Northeast Louisiana (Pet Assistance 
Welfare Society) at P.O. Box 15432, Monroe, LA 71207 or through their website 
www.pawsnela.org/ in lieu of flowers.
