WAYNE B. HENDRIXSON

Funeral services for Rev. Wayne B. Hendrixson, age 83 of West Monroe, will be 
held at 10 AM Monday, December 31, 2012 from the sanctuary of Mt. Pleasant 
Baptist Church, west of Columbia, with Bro. Ed Smith and Bro. Freeman Crain 
officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Sikes, LA.

Visitation will be Sunday evening at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 5 PM to 
9 PM.

Rev. Hendrixson was born on August 13, 1929 in Vixen, LA to the union of Hugh 
and Grace McGhee Hendrixson and went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 
28, 2012 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia, LA. He attended Mt. Pleasant 
Baptist Church prior to his passing, but had ministered and been a pastor in 
the Caldwell Parish area for 34 years. He was a great example of what a 
Christian father and husband should be. The two loves of his life were his 
grandkids and his church and he gave 100% to both.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Hendrixson.

Survivors include his son, Rev. Jerry Wayne Hendrixson and wife, Pam; 
granddaughter, Jessica Hendrixson; grandson, Joshua Hendrixson and nephew, 
Jimmy Hendrixson.

Pallbearers will be Carl Dunn, Jay Hill, Joshua Hendrixson, Saxton Baker, Bro. 
C.R. Martin and Keith Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be James Strange and 
John Thomas Boyd
