Ronald Brown and Rev. Mike Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Minnie Ann Walker Hennigan was born May 1, 1944 and went to join her Lord and Savior on September 5, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was an outstanding mama, Ninny, daughter, sister, and dear friend. To everyone in her path, the love and light of Jesus shone through her. She was a true angel on earth; watching the majesty of God through her amazed all who witnessed her. You could not know her and not believe in God. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Ireen Walker; father, Rufus Walker; father in-law, George Washington Hennigan; daughter, Amy Michelle Hennigan; three grandsons, Timothy Daniel Woods, Dustin Eric Woods, and Zachary Charles Spencer; two brothers, Shelby Dale Walker and William Samuel Walker; nephew, Jimmy Wayne Walker; and brother in-law, Gene "Buster" Hennigan. She leaves behind to miss her dearly her daughters, Kathy Spencer and husband Michael and Debbie Woods and husband Tim; granddaughters, Carrie Spencer and Shelly Spencer; two brothers, Pat Walker and wife Dianne, Dewayne Walker and girlfriend Martha; sisters in-law, Janice Walker, Patsy Castle, and Joy Walker; best friend, Carolyn Nicholson; a host of nieces and nephews; her aunt and uncle, Eula Mae and Jessie Holder; a host of cousins, too many good friends to name, mother in-law, Carrie Juanita Hennigan; and brother and sister in-law, Mae and Ryan Hennigan. Pallbearers will be John Williams, Darren Flannagan, Frank Bell, Scott Smith, Brian Walker, Christopher Davis, Gary St. Martin, and Bruce Bishop. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. But I trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation.
