DONALD F. HENRY

Funeral Service for Donald F. Henry, 92, of West Monroe, LA will be held 2:00 
P.M. Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West 
Monroe with Rev. Phillip Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Drew 
Cemetery in West Monroe.

Donald F. Henry was born to the union of Bryon F. Henry and Ella May Bryan on 
October 5, 1921 in West Monroe, LA and passed from this life on March 12, 2014 
at Glenwood Regional Medical Center.

Don was a United States Air Force veteran and served as a tail gunner in a B-
24 in WWII, completing 30 bombing missions over Germany. After working many 
years he retired from EXXON Mobil Oil Corp. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, 
gardening, and caring for his yard and home.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his mother and father; and siblings, 
Russell Henry, Ruby Nelson, Dayton Henry, Dorothy Dean, Sue Gober and Byron 
Henry, Jr.

Survivors include his brother, Billy Henry and wife, Dianne of Calhoun, LA; 
sister, Barbara Henry Battaglia of West Monroe, LA; and many nieces and 
nephews; and special friends, Wonnie Stroud and owners and employees of Kuntry 
Diner at Drew.

Mr. Henry's nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2014 
at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
