WILLIAM H. HICKS

ALTO LA, Jan. 5 - (Special)

The funeral of William H. Hicks, 56, postmaster of Alto, who died suddenly 
Saturday night from a heart attack, was held Sunday at the residence with Rev. 
H.G. Hammond, Baptist pastor officiating. Interment was in the Baptist Cemetery 
at Alto.

Mr. Hicks leaves his wife and one daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Hicks, student 
in Louisiana State Univeristy and a number of brothers and sisters.

The pallbearers were J.M. Sartor, D.R. Sartor, R.B. McKay, E.L. Brown, J.A. 
Ball and L.G. Bledsoe. 

The Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville was in charge
