LALU GATES HINTON

Funeral services for Lalu Gates Hinton, 94, of Point, LA.,will be held at 2:00 
p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Providence Baptist Church in Point, LA with 
Dr. Johnny Sanders officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 
10, 2013, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Burial will be in Acree Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home in Farmerville, LA.

Mother celebrated her 94th birthday on January 1st. She left us on the morning 
of January 9, 2013.

She was reunited in heaven with her husband Chester, daughter Shirley, son 
Rodney, and grandson Brian Antley and her parents, William and Lottie Gates. 
Mother was a housewife, a member of Providence Baptist Church, and a helper to 
our Dad in his garden. She was a Lady Techster fan and she loved her family 
very much.

She is survived by daughter Pat Silmon and husband Emmett; daughter, Gail 
Antley and husband Keith; grandchildren Billy Wayne, Tina & Jamie and wife Sue 
Silmon; Melanie Biehle and husband Drew; Brandon Antley and wife Tracy; great 
grandchildren, Sharie Silmon, Ashley and Brian Antley, and Nathaniel Biehle. 
Sister, Euna Rugg and husband Raymond; and a number of nieces & nephews.

We would like to thank Landmark Nursing Home and Premier Hospice, Sharon and 
Emily, for taking such good care of our Mother.
