OMIE HOBSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Omie Hobson, age 75, of Farmerville, LA, will be 
held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 2 , 2015 at Sardis Baptist Church in 
Farmerville, LA. Bro. Aleck Nyegaard assisted by Bro. Bobby Jackson will 
officiate. Interment will follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Farmerville under 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.

She was born on June 2, 1940 and passed away on August 29, 2015. She was a 
member of Sardis Baptist Church and a devoted Mother and Mamaw. She is 
preceded in death by her husband J.E. Hobson, parents: Charlie and Jeffie Mae 
Fuller, sister Charlene Jennings, and brother Ronnie Fuller.

She is survived by her daughters; Kathy Roberson (Gene) of Sterlington, LA; 
Marcy Casper (Shannon) of Farmerville, LA; Johnnie Jo Hobson of Bossier City, 
LA; and Cindy Bridges (Brad) of Spencer, LA; grandchildren, Gerard Roberson, 
Dusti Wright (B.J.), Ashley Roberson, Devin Lortz, Brandon Bridges; great-
grandchildren, Jathan Wright, Ariel, Dallas, Angel, and Holley; sister, 
Fraternal Twin Nomie Coughran of West Monroe, LA.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Casper, Brad Bridges, Gene Roberson, Ronnie 
Jennings Jr., Larry Carter, and Randy Upchurch.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lortz, Bo Bentley, Joe Jennings and, B.J. 
Wright.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 
P.M. at the church.

Our sweet, precious mother will be in our hearts forever.
