Tommy Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening, January 26, 2013, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Hogg was born on February 25, 1919 in Grayson, LA to the union of Henry Clint Monroe and Melissa Ann Volentine Monroe and passed from this life on Thursday, January 24, 2013. She married Woodrow Wilson "Kipe" Hogg in Olla, LA on November 23, 1935. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was a sports enthusiast including, but not limited to dominoes, cards games, LSU and Saint's Football. She loved babies and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great- grandchildren participate in any sporting event or school function. She enjoyed the outdoors by working in her yard with flowers and enjoyed reading. Those who met her at the Heavenly gates were her parents; her husband; two daughters: Norma Jean Hogg and Carolyn Sue Bryan; three sons: Wayne W. Hogg, Landry Jade Hogg and Reginald Neil Hogg; four brothers; four sisters and one grandson, Scott Bryan. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters: Johnnie R. Beatty of Ruston and Sandra F. Rushing (Gerald) of Grayson; three sons: Glenn W. Hogg (Janice), Gary L. Hogg (Carol) and Billy H. Hogg all of Lamesa, TX; sister, Irene Case of West Monroe; twenty-six grandchildren; fifty-seven great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Thornton, Clint Thornton, Edsel Hogg and Todd Hogg. The family would like to express their thanks to the care, love and support received by her cargivers: Barbara Gaylor, Ann Griffin, Kimli Peckham and Susan Crawford, Special Home Health Aide, Barbara Duke and Dr. Pankaj Shroff.
