MICHAEL GARY HOLDINESS, SR.

Golden Funeral Home

Bastrop, LA

Funeral services for Michael Gary Holdiness, Sr., age 59, are scheduled for 
2:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2008 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with 
Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in the Christ Church 
Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 
Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Holdiness, a farmer, mechanic technician and a resident of Mer Rouge, LA, 
passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at St. Francis North Hospital. He served 
in the Louisiana National Guard for 15 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Holdiness.

He is survived by his wife, Linette James Holdiness; mother, Gwendolyn M. 
Holdiness; one son, Michael Gary Holdiness, Jr.; two daughters, Dr. Gwendolyn 
L. Holdiness, Dr. Susan St. Pierre and husband Tommy; one step-son, Bryan 
Fontenot; one brother, Dr. Mack R. Holdiness; two grandchildren, Chastin 
Fontenot, Jacob St. Pierre, and a nephew Andrew Holdiness.
