JUDITH YARBERRY HOLLAND

Funeral services for Judith C. Yarberry Holland will be held Monday, May 14, 
2012, at 3:00 PM at the Burkhalter Chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church, 
in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brian Mercer, with interment 
at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick's 
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holland was born on May 31, 1928 in Ruston, Louisiana and died Friday, 
May 11, 2012 at her home in Ruston after a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel D. and Leola S. Clinton, and 
husband Alfred E. Holland.

Mrs. Holland received her Master's Degree from Louisiana Tech University and 
was a lifelong educator. She began her teaching career as the first elementary 
art teacher in Lincoln Parish and went on to teach first grade at Hillcrest 
Elementary School in Ruston until her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Y. Diaz and husband, Eliot Diaz, and 
Ellen Y. Galligan and husband, Gene Galligan; granddaughters Sarah K. and 
Dinah V. Diaz and grandson Kyle Galligan and wife, Lacy Galligan.

Visitation will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church Monday, May 14, 
from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to the staff and loving 
caregivers of Professional Hospice Care.
