Visitation will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe from 12:00 pm until service time Wednesday. Rev. Wesley Pittman will be officiating. Mrs. Holley was born into this life on May 23, 1927 at Hico, LA and went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 12, 2013. Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Holley, two sons Gary Doffitt and Ronnie Doffitt, two brothers, Troy Pair and Odis Pair and two sisters, Elizabeth Pair and Ila M. Wilson. She is survived by one son, Erny Doffitt of Baton Rouge, LA,one brother, Hershel Pair (Gloria), grandchildren Cindy Doffitt, Laura Doffitt, Chris Doffitt, Troy Dugger, Bobby Doffitt, Deanna Vaughn, Jessica Doffitt, Courtney Doffitt, step-grandchildren Adam Grosz and Samantha Hufford and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Holley retired from the St. Francis Medical Center where she was employed as a Medical Buyer. She thoroughly enjoyed her coworkers and the relationships she developed during her career. They remained dear to her till her death and she spoke of them often. She enjoyed cooking, but enjoyed eating her sister's cooking even more. She seemed to be most content when she was outdoors turning soil and making things grow. She did have a green thumb. She was a loving mother, wife, aunt, sister and grandparent. She touched many lives with her acts of kindness and giving. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her. Fond memories of her will be cherished forever. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt appreciation for the excellent care and love she received during the last couple of years from Dr. William Patrick Gahan, Terry Sanders P.A., nurses Mariah Torres and Tedra Johnson of Lake Senior Care and Clarity Hospice nurses Caretha Thomas and BrittneyJohnsonand sitter Florida Allen.
