He was laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services. Pallbearers were, Michael and Kevin deValcourt, Keith Cascio, Alvin Primeaux, Bill Broussard, and Dr. Paul Jude Hollier. Honorary pallbearers were J.D. Cascio, John Hollier, Jr., Bobby Neveaux, Kenneth Cascio, Jarred Franklin, Pratt Lewis and Joseph Marinari. Christopher was an avid baseball fan, fisherman and strong competitor in the Special Olympics. He was a devout spiritual person with love in his heart for everyone he knew and was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his brother, John Edmund Hollier and wife Evelyn of Abbeville, three sisters, Roberta Anne Hollier, PhD, of San Francisco, CA; Jeanne H. deValcourt of Abbeville and Patricia Ruth and J.D. Cascio of Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews, Michael Mark deValcourt, John Kevin deValcourt, Stephanie Marie Marinari, John E. Hollier, Jr., Charles Brian Hollier, Marcia Christine Hollier, Maria Angelle H. Zerangue, Patrice H. Thibodeaux, Dr. Paul Jude Hollier, Keith Cascio, Kenneth Cascio, Karen C. Franklin and Kathryn E. Lewis, PhD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie Louise Hebert Hollier. His family would like to offer a special thanks to his sitters for the wonderful care they gave him, Pat, Dot, Geraldine and Irene, also LTAC and the 3rd floor staff at Abbeville General.
