Brandon Martens and Bro. Michael Sims officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 5, 2014, Coni traded all of her worldly pain from a 17 month battle with pancreatic cancer for a beautiful crown. And we all know how much she loved a pretty crown! Coni's beautiful soul allowed her to find the good in anyone, spots of beauty where no one else could, and taught those around her to look for the small things and find joy. There was no flower she couldn't make grow, no food she couldn't make delectable, and no heart she couldn't make fuller than it had been before it knew her. She kept the local Hallmark store in business because she sent cards to everyone for every occasion. (Chances are you are nodding your head right now because you received a card from her, and probably thought to yourself, "I didn't even know they made a card for that!) She loved to be in her yard, with her hands in the dirt; she treasured driving tree-canopied streets in her beloved convertible, and she was never happier than when she had a house full of company to entertain with cloth napkins and a fully decorated table. Coni will be remembered for all of these things, but least we forget her faith. Her relationship with The Lord was her most admirable accomplishment. She trusted Him with each and every decision, thanked Him for each and every blessing, and asked of Him numerous requests on a daily basis, though few of those prayer requests were ever for herself. And it is because of this faith that it can be said, Coni won her battle with cancer. Upon her passing, Coni was reunited in Heaven with her parents, Benjamin and Sybil Goldsberry and brother Mike Goldsberry, whom she longed to see. Left to cherish her memory are her adoring husband of 40 years, Clay Hollingsworth; son, Chris Hollingsworth and wife Darby; daughter, Corine Hollingsworth Naron and husband Jay; grandson, Gage Hollingsworth; her ever loyal Mamie Caroline, brother, Roger Goldsberry; sisters, Sharon Savoie, Judy Myers, Kristi Goldsberry; and a number of nieces, nephews, friends, and other special relatives. Pallbearers will be Dustin Barton, Rick Felkel, Mike Gomilla, Zach Johnson, Nick Oglesby, Michael Plummer, Kevin Savoie, and Shaun Savoie, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Shaun Savoie, Sr. and Robert Woodard. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Kim Sanderson and Emily Ramsey of Pafford Ambulance, Randee Mann of Avalon Place, Shane Davidson, Keith Carter, and M. D. Anderson's Dr. Marina George, along with all of the friends and loved ones that constantly lifted spirits with cards, calls, and visits, but even more so-prayers. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society , The Monroe Garden Club, or any other giving organization. If you know Coni, you know that there wasn't an organization that she didn't support with her generous spirit and selflessness.
