EULINE BLACKMON HOLLIS

Euline Blackmon Hollis went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 
2011. She was born on November 28, 1922. She was the oldest child of Eva 
Williams and Ewell Thomas Blackmon. She was a native of Junction City, 
Arkansas and lived in 57 years in Columbia, Louisiana. In 2006 she moved to 
Farmers Branch, Texas, to be close to her daughter and family.

Euline graduated from Louisiana Tech with a degree in Home Economics and 
taught for many years after retiring in Caldwell Parish in 1987. She was a 
member of First United Methodist Church in Columbia.

Preceding her in death in 2001 was her beloved husband, Donald.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Malone and husband Patrick of Plano, 
Texas; three grandchildren, Matt Waldrop and Adam Waldrop of Austin, Texas; 
Caroline Degarmo and husband Kevin of Farmers Branch, Texas and two great-
granddaughters, Abigail and Brooklyn. She is also survived by her brother, 
Jerry Blackmon of Junction City and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be at the church two hours prior to service 
time.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at First United 
Methodist Church in Junction City with Rev. Lynn McClure officiating. 
Interment will be follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey 
Funeral Home of Junction City, Ar.

The family asks that any remembrances and donations to go to the Alzheimer's 
Association.
