WILLIAM DAVIS HOLLIS

William Davis Hollis, age 69, a native of Monroe, La and a resident of Mobile, 
Al. Bill passed away on April 9, 2014 after lengthy illness. He will be missed 
greatly. He was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, uncle, pharmacist and 
friend to many. Bill went to Neville High School and transferred his senior 
year and graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tn. Bill 
attended pharmacy school at the University of Mississippi and graduated in 
1972. He started his career joining his father at Hollis Pharmacy on Forsythe 
for many years before moving to the Gulf Coast.

He is preceded in death by his father William T. Hollis. He is survived by his 
wife of fifty years Julia R. Hollis, son David T. Hollis and grandchildren 
Zachary and Kathryn Elizabeth Hollis, daughter, Allison Hollis Parker and 
husband Tad Parker, grandchildren Dylan, Grant, and Alyssa Parker, mother 
Katherine J. Hollis, sister Kate Hollis, and nephews Todd and Larsen Bright, 
nephew Brian Boudreaux and niece Jolynne Boudreaux and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Springhill Memorial Medical Center chapel, 
Building 2, Mobile, Al. on Friday, April 18 at 3pm. Visitation will be at 2pm 
at the chapel.
