OPAL HOLSTEAD

Funeral Services for Opal "Gran Gran" Holstead, 86, of West Monroe, LA will 
be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, May 14, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, West Monroe, LA with Dr. Jim Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow 
in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Ms. Opal was born March 21, 1931 in Kelly, LA, and passed away May 11, 2017 
in West Monroe, LA. She was a retired bookkeeper for Tom King, CPA. She 
loved to work in her yard and enjoyed traveling with her children. Ms. Opal 
was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years and father of her children, 
Billy Holstead; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her children, Tim Holstead and wife Veronica, Brenda 
McCullars and husband Art, and Danny Holstead and wife Tanya; grandchildren, 
Jeff Jackson and wife Allison, Matt Jackson and wife Jeanette, Heather 
Bamburg and husband Blake, Josh Holstead and wife Brandi, Rachal Holdman and 
husband Ben, Hannah Holstead, Cameron Holstead and wife Anne Marie, Cody 
Holstead and Caty Beth Holstead; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Jackson, Matt Jackson, Josh Holstead, Cameron 
Holstead, Cody Holstead and Ben Holdman.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, May 13, 
2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA, and from 2:00 P.M. until 
service time on Sunday.

Memorials may be made to Ridge Avenue Baptist Church.
