FRANCIS GAIL HOOF

Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Gail Hoof, 64, were held on Friday March 8, 
2013 at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home. Officiating the funeral service 
were Rev. James Prince, Rev. Jesse Truitt and Rev. Jeffery Luellen. Interment 
followed at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

 Gail was born on January 21, 1949 in Hope, Arkansas to the union of Ivie Lee 
and Thelma Parks Ponder and passed from this life on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at 
Avalon Place after an extended illness.

 She was a resident of Monroe, a retired nurse and a member of Highland Park 
Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed outdoors, gardening and working 
in her lawn; and had a passion to help and be with people.

 She is preceded in death by her parents; step sons Chad Hoof and Brad Hoof.

 She is survived by her husband William David Hoof ; daughter Rebecca Lynn 
Carpenter and husband Shye; step daughter Regina Hoof; sisters Iva Willingham 
and husband Jim, Paulette Ponder and husband Chuck ; grandchildren Nathan Lee 
Carlock , Hailey Mae Carlock Carpenter, Timothy Hackett, Ella, Emma and Carlie 
McGinly; also survived by nieces and nephews.

 Honored to serve as pallbearers were Nathan Lee Carlock, Chad Brasseaux, 
Justin Freeman, Zachary Brasseaux, Anthony Yakaboski and Rick Ducket.

 Honorary pallbearer was Harold Hart.
