She left earth for her eternal home on Sunday March 30, 2014 where she was met by her parents; brothers Duane, Fred & Jack Hooter; sister, Jean Thompson; and long time forever friend, Nina Hay. Sudie loved Jesus and celebrated her Spiritual Birthday yearly beginning on October 12, 1986, when she accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized. She lived life to the fullest, a life that touched so many. She is survived by her sisters, Doris Bradley, Jan Hardwell and husband Jonie, and Camille Hatch; cousin, Linda Collins Gard; and forever friend, Toni Stanford. She also leaves her love and legacy to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who she loved as her own. She had a special way of making each one feel that they were the most important! Pallbearers will be Charles Noble Hatch III, Phillip Bradley, Scott Hooter, Howard Thompson, Buddy Frost, and Barry Humble. Throughout the last months of her life, she endured multiple medical challenges. In the end, she won, for she is eternally healed. Sudie's family, especially her niece, Sammi Smith, (who Sudie always introduced as her 'daughter') and her husband, Tim, wish to thank the medical community for their care and compassion. We will forever be grateful for Dr. Anil Chhabra, Dr. Mike Sewell, Erin Richard, NP, Dr. Matt Mosura, Dr. Betsy Harrel, Dr. Kennedy Lim, Dr. Attila Balogh, Dr. Gerry San Pedro, Dr. Raghu Nathan, and Dr. Ronnie Lambert.
