Services for Lenard Hope, 78, of West Monroe, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, 
November 19, 1997, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe, with Rev. 
Bruce Page and Lenard Sappofficiating. Burial will be at River view Cemetery. 
Mr. Hope died Novembe 16, 1997 at Glenwood Hospital. He was a native of 
Caldwell Parish and a retired truck driver for the City of Monroe. 

Survivors include two daughters: Alice Hedgepeth and Jewel Dowdy, both of West 
Monroe; one son: Luther Rhodes of Junction City, TN; one step-daughter: Louise 
Roberts of West Monroe; one sister: Mrs. Mildred Fairleigh of New Orleans; 
thirteen grandchildren; and anumber of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will 
be Jeff Dowdy, Jeremy Dowdy, Chris Dowdy, Jesse Dowdy, Kan Karnjanakit, and 
Brandon Ramsey. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral 
home.
