John H. Hopper formerly of Monroe, LA died on Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the 
age 84.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean (Johnston) Hopper and brother 
Robert Lee.

He is survived John B. Hopper of Columbus, OH and Shirlee J. Scherch of 
Pittsburgh, PA; Grand father of 3; he was also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Campground Cemetery on Saturday, August 15 
at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to Alzheimer's 
Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601-7633 www.alz.org
