ELZIE HOWARD

Funeral services for Elzie Howard, 93, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM, 
Sunday, May 10, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with 
Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Start Cemetery, Start, 
LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Howard was born May 8, 1922 in Franklin Parish, LA and passed away May 8, 
2015 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen 
Howard; brothers, Felton, Willie, Louis, Norman, Enoch and Paul Howard.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 74 years, Annie Moore Howard; 3 
children, John E. Howard and wife Carmen, Jerry Marsala and husband Sam, and 
Juwana Lenard; daughter-in-law, Loraine Howard and a very special friend to the 
Howard family, Vikki McDonald; sister, Vivian Slocum; sister-in-law Betty 
Howard; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great 
grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Dye, Phillip Marsala, Michael John Lenard, Jeremy Dye, 
Erik Risdal, Luke Saxon and Jacob Marsala.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
