Sarah Ruth Warren Hudnall (Sally) passed away at her home in Ruston September 14, 2008, surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness. She was born September 28, 1924, in Centreville, Mississippi, to Joseph Joplin and Carrie Lee Netterville Warren. Sarah is survived by her husband Jarrett Hudnall; her children Jarrett Joseph Hudnall and wife Amy of Roswell, Georgia, William Warren Hudnall of Baton Rouge, Katherine Reese and husband Dennis of Paris, Texas and Thomas Wilson Hudnall and wife Julie of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren Christopher Parks and wife Anna Lisa of Meduno, Italy, Jeb and Katie Reese of Paris, Texas and Sarah Margaret and Gavin Michael Hudnall of Roswell, Georgia; her sister Jo Ann Warren of Amelia Island, Florida and sister-in-law Margaret Hudnall of Denton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carrie Lee Warren of League City, Texas. Sarah taught business subjects in schools and universities in Washington, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Her interests included church related activities and organizations, Cub Shouts, Girl Scouts, Faculty Wives Club and the Retired Teacher's Association. Sally enjoyed participating in the activated of St Thomas Catholic Church and looked forward to working with students and fellow parishioners. The Happy Gardeners Society was a source of friendships and enjoyment of shared interests to her. The family wishes to express special appreciation to Dr. Laura Campbell, Dr. Glenn Figueroa, Dr. George Smith and Hospice of Caring Hearts. Mary Carol Vidrine, Liza Humphries, Marion Folk, and Rosa Pierce have contributed greatly to the comfort of Sally and the family. The thoughtful and generous help of friends has been invaluable. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2008 with a wake service beginning at 5:30 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ruston. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Centreville, Mississippi September 18, 2008. Planned memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Hospice of Caring Hearts or the charitable organization of choice.
