Services for Ann Markland Parker Humpries, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, 
November 8, 1997 at Kilpatrick's West Monroe Chapel with Rev. Jeff Luellen 
officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. Humpries 
died Monday, November 3, 1997.

Mrs. Humpries was a native of Dubach and resident of Metairie, LA. for the 
past 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Warren Gamaliel 
Parker and Richard Finley Humpries; parents: Allie Burge and Jasper Ballard 
Markland; and brother Jasper Ballard "Billy" Markland, Jr.

Survivors include two children: Mary Ann Torina and Billy Parker; one step-
son: Robert "Bobby" Parker; four grandchildren: Renee Torina, Mark A. 
Carlisle, Sean O'Neal, and Erin Eileen Parker; and one great-grandchild: Mark 
A. Carlisle, Jr.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time 
Saturday.
