Calvary Baptist Church, River Road in Rayville, LA. Rev. Bill Lovett, Rev. Harold Spiller, and Rev. Jay Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Greer Cemetery in Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville. Fannie Mae Wade Hunter was born on December 26, 1914 and left this world to meet her Lord on October 22, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raleigh Albert Hunter; sons, Leroy Hunter and James Ellis Hunter; sons-in-law, J.B. Ratcliff; and Alton Ray King. Known to most as Mama Hunter and to others as Granny, she was an inspiration to everyone she met. She could light up a room by just walking in with a smile on her face. Fannie Mae Hunter was a true Christian that left a legacy behind her of 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many wonderful family and friends. She is survived by her children, Ruby Marie Ratcliff of Rayville; R.A. Hunter and wife, Doris of Monroe; Frances King of North Carolina; William Hunter and wife, Regina of Florida; Pat Aman and Husband, Joseph of North Carolina. Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Mike McNaughton, Jay Ratcliff, Mike Hunter, Jamey McNaughton, Brad Brown, Ken Hunter, William King, and Junior Yeates. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Ron Morgan and Brad Gomillion. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville.
