A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Parkway Baptist Church, 505 Cuniff Parkway, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, with Pastor Ken Castleberry officiating. Mrs. Hurley was born November 7, 1935, in Sibley, LA and passed away February 14, 2013, in West Monroe. She was retired from Executive Administrative Assistant with Triton Boat Company. Mrs. Hurley was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and was a resident of Nashville, Tennessee for 28 years. Mrs. Hurley is survived by her son, Art Vancil; daughters; Lynn Hutchinson and husband, Bill, Dr. Gwenn Jackson and husband, Charles, and Amy Kowicki and husband, Michael; grandchildren; Ashley Brewer and husband, Trevor, Allison Matkin and husband, Ezra, Melinda, Claire, and Spencer Hutchinson, Chas and Sarah Jackson, Kelsea Walker, Stephen and Hunter Kowcki, and Zachary Vanhuss; great-grandchildren, Eli, Maggie, Matthew, Jaye, Quinn, Charlie Cooper; 2 sisters-in-law, Linda Doncer and Toni Audirsch; special cousin, Charles Lyons. Pallbearers are grandsons Chas, Stephen, Hunter, Zachary and Spencer, and Ezra. Visitation is Saturday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Jean's family gratefully acknowledges and appreciates the tender care extended by her physicians and the staff at Glenwood Regional Medical Center as well as the many acts of kindness, concern and encouragement by her many friends.
