DOROTHY LARUE HYLAND

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy LaRue Hyland, 86, of West Monroe, will be 
held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery 
with Rev. Bruce Rux officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Hyland passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Landmark Nursing Home. 
She retired as a social worker for the Louisiana State Welfare Department, a 
member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, a member of the Jr. League, the Garden 
Club, and a bridge club.

Mrs. Hyland was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joseph Hyland; son, 
Thomas Richard Hyland; grandson, Thomas Richard Hyland, II; and mother, Lillian 
LaRue.

Survivors include her grandson, Lomax Anderson, IV; granddaughters, Amanda 
Stephenson, Celeste Lubenow, and Wendy Dinwiddie; and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association or to the 
Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
