ELBERT LEE ICKARD

Funeral services for Elbert Lee Ikerd, age 88, formerly of Lake Providence, LA, 
will be 2PM, Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, with Rev. 
Roy Telano officiating. Interment will be in the Providence Memorial Cemetery 
in Lake Providence. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 4PM - 8PM and Sunday from noon until service 
time at Cox Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his son, Elbert Lee "Butch" Ikerd Jr.; daughter, 
Vickie Dianne Shaw; parents, Myrick Green Ikerd and Nora Alice Ikerd; 3 
brothers and 2 sisters; also Yo-Yo, his Yo.

Elbert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maxine Ikerd of Collinston, LA; 
daughter and son-in-law, Linda Carol and Terry Myers of Lake Providence, LA; 
daughter, Rosemary Ikerd of Farmerville, LA; 6 grandchildren, Angela Cooley, 
Erica Lynne Chapman, Christopher Lee Myers, Amy Lea Hawthorne, Gary Michael 
Davis Jr., Megan Alaine Hosea; 6 great-grandchildren, David Ryan Cooley, 
Kennedy Paige Chapman, Kimberly Lauren Cooley, Christy Nicole Chapman, Madeline 
Cheree Hawthorne, Tye Preston Hosea; great-great-grandson, Aiden Ryan Cooley; 
sister, Velma Griffith; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Chapman, Chris Myers, Michael Davis, Jamie Hosea, 
Mike Davis, Dwayne Ikerd.
