Saturday, January 17, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Kibbey Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Ivy passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. She was a member of Farmerville United Methodist Church. She was a member of numerous Art Associations and Galleries. She was a licensed florist, member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, honorary member of PTA and a past state officer, a lifetime honorary membership of March of Dimes, and a member of United Methodist Women, which she held several offices. She loved to paint and spend time with her family. Mrs. Ivy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Katherine Knight; daughter, Amy Jeanette Ivy; three grandchildren, Christopher Glen, Erica Lynn, and Katherine June Guinbellot. Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Lavelle Ivy; two daughters, Kathi McGaugh and husband David and Tracey Ivy; two brothers, Ben Knight of Monroe and George Knight and wife Lisa of Missouri; grand children, Davey McGaugh and wife Amanda, Jesse McGaugh, and Samuel Tyler McGaugh; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Davey McGaugh, Jesse McGaugh, Tyler McGaugh, Kevin Hogard, Kreig Hogard, and George Knight III. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Friday January 16, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Farmerville United Methodist Church.
