BARBARA JEAN BROOKS IVY

Funeral services for Barbara Jean Brooks Ivy, 80, of Monroe, LA, will be 
held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating. Interment 
will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Ivy passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, in Monroe, LA. She was 
a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and a former member of the 
Eastern Star.

Mrs. Ivy was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan Reese and Francis 
Colvin Brooks; and her husband Charles Duane Ivy.

Survivors include two sons, Tony Ivy and wife Tami, and Casey Ivy; one 
daughter, Kelly Ivy Reeves and husband Scott; five grandchildren, Kaya, 
Evans Knight, Callie Ivy, Logan Reeves and Claire Reeves; two sisters, JoAnn 
Borden and Peggy Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Doug Kyle, Brian Patton, Gary Smith, Dana Simmons, Mike 
Walters and Roger Berry.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
