She was born in Lamkin, Louisiana, on May 18, 1927, daughter of the late Jeanette Pastor Anderson and the late Reverend Willie Anderson. As a young girl, Willie Lee loved growing up on the bayou with her extended family and had many fond memories of being a "country" girl. She was married to the late Mr. John Tillman Jacobs and had three children, the late Doris Everfield, the late Doran Jacobs and Daryl Jacobs. Mrs. Anderson had four siblings, Bobbie Jean Kirk and the late Laverne Decater, Jeanette Moses and Grover Anderson. She is survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Everfield, Eric Jacobs, Cynthia Jacobs Jackson, Roosevelt Everfield III and Shalica Wiley and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Willie Lee's devotion and love for all children is a tribute to the beauty of her heart and soul. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be Monday, May 15th at 11am at Smith Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana.
