Phillippians 4:4-7." David died Friday, January 9, 2009 as the result of a tragic car accident. David was 19 years old, born on June 21, 1989. David was greatly loved by his entire family and many, many friends. He was passionate about his job at Raising Cane's, quickly rising in position there. David's caring, happy-go- lucky personality and his ability to learn quickly made him one of the most loved and respected members of the team. He was a favorite of crew members and managements. David was full of life and had an adventurous spirit. Those who love David knew his heart which was filled with deep faith and love, admiration, and respect for his family and friends. Among his favorite experiences was the opportunity to serve as a volunteer in Mission Honduras. David was a graduate of St. Aloysius and Redemptorist High School. Visition on Monday, January 12, 2009 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM. He is survived by his parents, Jeanne Curet James and David McGuire James, Sr., siblings, Sarah Jeanne "Sally" James, William Louis James, and Carter Curet James, maternal grandfather, Louis D. Curet, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. James, Jr., of Ruston and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Louis D. Curet. Pallbearers will be Mr. John B. Anderson, Dr. Curtis Creed, Mr. Jim Hall, Dr. George Karam, Mr. Steve Muckleroy and Mr. Scott Thompson. David was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Aloysisus Catholic Church or School, or St. Vincent de Paul where David loved serving meals to those in need. Special thanks to the staff of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and also to the staff of Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency for the care given to David.
