"Miss" Maudine was born in Union County Arkansas on November 13, 1924 to James Pepper and Jane Williams Pepper. She was married for 52 years to the late William Douglas "Pete" Jeffcoats. She is survived by her daughter, Janet and husband Ben Burns ofWatkinsville, GA; her two sons: Doug Jeffcoats of Dallas, TX and Gary Jeffcoats and wife Suzanne of Fairfield, CA; her five grandchildren; her four great- grandchildren; and scores of special nieces and nephews - all of whom made her life richer. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Simsboro.
