BYRDIE MAE JENNINGS

Visitation for Byrdie Mae Jennings will be Thursday, June 12, 2014, from 5:00 
p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church in Winnsboro. Funeral 
services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Gene 
Brown and Rev. George Ferrington officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden 
Cemetery in Liddieville, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of 
Winnsboro.

Byrdie Mae Johnston Jennings of Liddieville passed away June 10, 2014 at 
Plantation Manor Nursing Home. She was born December 23, 1928, in Forest, LA to 
Gordy Hines Johnston and Gladys Rachel Valentine Johnston. Mrs. Jennings was a 
loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted member 
of Christian Fellowship Church in Winnsboro and missions was always close to her 
heart. She worked at Rogers Clinic, Seligmen's and in the cafeteria at Ogden 
High School. However, to many, she is remembered most as being a teacher's aide 
at Ogden High School.

Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, LaVerne Beatty and 
Gloria Joy Tarver; brother, G. W. Johnston and grandson-in-law, Larry D. Clark.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charlie Ray Jennings, Sr.; sons: Ray 
Jennings and wife, Benise, of Winnsboro; Mike Jennings and wife, Karen, of 
Liddieville; John Jennings and wife, Shelia, of St. Francisville. Grandchildren: 
Chuck Jennings and wife, Toni, of Dickinson, TX; Michelle Jennings of Winnsboro; 
Becky Jennings Clark of Winnsboro; Amanda Jennings Parker and husband, Matt, of 
Liddieville; Kaitlyn Jennings McDaniel and husband, Michael, of Katy, TX; and 
Courtney Jennings of Ruston. Great-grandchildren: Elias Connor Jennings and Baby 
Girl Jennings due in August of Dickinson, TX, and Finley Grace Parker of 
Liddieville. Sister Virginia Johnston Collins and husband, Bobby, of Winnsboro 
and brother-in-law, James Beatty, of Winnsboro. Many nieces and nephews and 
special family friend, Bess Graham.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Jennings, Matt Parker, Michael McDaniel, D. C. Tarver, 
Keith Collins and Todd Young.
