Wayne Whiteside and Chaplain Don Banks officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery in Farmerville under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Mrs. Jinks, a dietician and homemaker, went to her heavenly home August 5, 2014. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, card games, and her day lilies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Myrtle Nutt Pratt; 3 sisters: twin sister, Mary Ima Jean Reese, Melba Voight and Frances LaBeff; and 2 great grandsons: Hunter & Cameron Jinks. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William B. "Bill" Jinks of Downsville; 3 sons: William E. "Blue" Jinks & wife, Lorrie of Downsville, Homer Ray Jinks & Marty Kay Jinks, mother of 3 grandchildren of Farmerville, and Mark O'Neal Jinks & wife, Johnna of Shreveport; 2 daughters: Rebecca Jinks Brennon & husband, Charles of Downsville and Rhonda Jinks Owens & husband, Shelton also of Downsville; 1 brother: Homer T. Pratt of Bossier City; 13 grandchildren: Jennifer Creed & husband, Jason, Casey Rogers, Adam Smith, Colby Jinks & wife, Courtney, Jessica Kelly, Sam Smith & wife, Victoria, Dalton Jinks & wife, Katie, Josh Brennon & wife, Leanne, Matthew Jinks, Caleb Jinks, Landon Jinks, Mason Jinks, and Marley Jinks; several great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren: Whitney Owens, Bonnie Bearden, Stephanie Craighead, and Angela Delrio; special friends: Nancy Cooper and Tiny Ward; and caregivers: Cheryl and Wanda. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are Mason Jinks and Landon Jinks. Visitation is 5-8PM Thursday at Farrar Funeral Home.
