GLENDA SMITHERMAN JOHANNESEN

Glenda Smitherman (Johannesen), 80, of Pollock, passed from this life on 
Thursday, December 3, 2015, at her residence.

During her working life, she was Manager for the East Carroll Parish School 
Food Administration.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elzie Lee Smitherman, Sr. and Bjarne 
Johannesen; grandson, Christopher Shane "Gator" Smitherman; great 
granddaughter, Shelby Faith Smitherman; parents, Arthur and Grace Manning 
Brantley and 5 brothers, W. J., Arthur, Joe Reese, Lavelle and Carl Wayne 
Brantley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Elzie Lee Smitherman, Jr and 
wife, Janie; daughter, Shawnee Lafitte and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Rodney 
Lee Smitherman, Jeffery Allen Smitherman, Michael Jeremy Arledge, Eric Russell 
Arledge; great grandchildren, Nicholas Arledge, Avry Arledge, Eric Arledge, 
Alyssa Arledge, Branson Smitherman and Braycen Smitherman; brothers, Fate 
Brantley and Louis Brantley; sisters, Fronia Mae Banner, Emma Jean Desadier, 
Maude Rogers and Pat Reid and a host of other family members and friends.

The family requests that no flowers or memorials be sent, as per her wishes
