DONALD D. JOHNSON

Celebration of Remembrance for Mr. Donald D. Johnson, 75, will be 5:00 PM until 
7:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2014, at the Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ in 
West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Don was born July 3, 1939, in Jigger, LA and passed away on December 21, 2014, 
in Monroe, LA. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army 
National Guard. During 1970-1980, he owned and operator numerous automotive 
parts stores in and around the Monroe, West Monroe area. For the past 25 years, 
he was a car salesman and currently worked at Ideal Motors.

Survivors include his sons, Brian D. Johnson and wife Cynthia, Jeffrey Scott 
Johnson; four grandchildren, Kimberly Takewell, Kristen Johnson, Hannah 
Johnson, and Daniel Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Landry Takewell; 
siblings, Arvil Johnson and wife Lannie, Nathan Johnson and wife Shirley, 
Hershel Johnson and wife Pat, Ronald Johnson, Albert Johnson and wife Pat, 
Betty Gilmore, Terry Johnson and wife JoEllen; as well as numerous niece, 
nephews and cousins.
