FAY JOHNSON

Funeral services for Fay Johnson, 91, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 
PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe. Rev. Bill Moore and Rev. Tim Atkins will officiate. Interment will 
follow at Chatham Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 17, 1924 in Eros, LA and passed away February 
20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey L. Johnson, and 
brothers, Warner and Clyde Medaries. She is survived by two daughters, Sherry 
Lynn Carey and husband, Tom, and Cathy Jackson; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-
grandchildren; beloved cousin, Lucille Stough; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Johnson was retired from U. S. Postal Service. She was known for her love 
of music, a talent she shared through church and community service. Her wit 
and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Clyde C. Medaries, Richard Medaries, David Johnson, Randy 
Johnson, Richard Carey, Brian Lang, Delton Spillers, and Sammy Tolar.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

The family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Chatham.
